Sales Consultant – Experienced or Trainee – Full Time

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our established, family-oriented team at Stawell Toyota. Whether you're an experienced professional or new to sales, this role offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a supportive environment. As part of our dynamic team, you'll learn the Toyota way while prioritising customer satisfaction and delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the sale of both new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Guide and manage various elements of the sales process.
  • Understand and anticipate customer needs, building long-term relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a seamless and positive experience at every stage of the sales journey.

Qualified Technician / Motor Mechanic - Full Time

We are looking for Qualified Service Technicians / Motor Mechanics to join Stawell Toyota and grow their career. We are expanding and enhancing our workshop and looking for experienced technicians to grow, lead and thrive in our service department.

What’s the Role About?
As an Automotive Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair, and service vehicles according to manufacturer warranty guidelines, company policy, and supervisor instructions.
  • Providing expert advice on the current mechanical condition of vehicles.
  • Mentoring junior technicians and contributing to the growth of the service department.
  • Repairing mechanical components such as engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
  • Reporting necessary work, services, or repairs to the Service Manager and recording information using in-house databases.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues related to our product range.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment through the correct operation of tools and specialised equipment.
  • Promoting safe work practices among all staff.
  • Conducting test drives and quality assessments prior to delivering or returning vehicles to customers.
  • Performing other duties as directed.

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

  • Mechanical Trade Qualifications.
  • Valid Australian Work Rights.
  • Current driver’s license.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Competent and mature-minded mechanic.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills.
  • Well-presented with a customer-first focus.
  • A positive attitude.
