To celebrate the launch of the app and the partnership with Caltex, myToyota will be offering all registered guests an additional four cents a litre for a limited time between 27 September - 2 October, bringing the total discount to 8 cents per litre during this promotion period.
The new discount for Toyota customers builds on the myToyota app's existing functions that give owners quick and easy access to all the essential information and services that relate to their vehicle.
Toyota Australia chief marketing officer Wayne Gabriel said the new partnership with Caltex allows Toyota to extend its rewards for loyal owners and use mobile digital technology to continue improving the Toyota ownership experience.
"We recognise that fuel costs are a significant part of the cost of motoring, so our new partnership with Caltex helps reduce that weekly burden for Toyota owners," Mr Gabriel said.
"The 4 cents per litre saving, is not a short-term offer: it's an on-going discount available every single day for fuel purchases from participating Caltex service stations across Australia.
"This is just another way that the myToyota app is delivering great benefits for our customers," he said.
To take advantage of the myToyota app rewards, owners of Toyota vehicles manufactured from 2001 can download the app, register and add their vehicle details. For registration, myToyota can also be accessed via a laptop or desktop computer at my.Toyota.com.au.
Owners can redeem the fuel discount by visiting the Rewards section of the app and accessing a QR code to present when paying. The list of participating Caltex sites can be found within the myToyota app.
Owners are eligible for the fuel discount once every 24-hour period on each Toyota vehicle they own that is registered with myToyota.
In addition to saving on the cost of fuel, the myToyota app gives owners access to other rewards and discounts on Toyota products as well as from Toyota partners including the AFL, Thredbo Resort and Cricket Australia.
Regular competitions offer exclusive opportunities such as private tours of the MCG or corporate box access for AFL matches.
As well as offering rewards and discounts, the myToyota app provides a platform to arrange vehicle servicing - enabling Toyota guests to choose the date, time and type of service they require and book directly with their chosen Toyota dealer.
